Málaga’s Museum combines the prestigious collections of the Museum of Fine Arts and the Provincial Archaeology Museum, making it the largest museum in Andalusia and the fifth largest in Spain. Housed in the neoclassical Aduana Palace, the museum’s Fine Arts section includes over 2,000 paintings from renowned artists such as Goya, Sorolla, and Picasso, as well as works from the “Escuela Malagueña de Pintura.” Its archaeology collection features more than 15,000 artifacts spanning from the 8th century to the Middle Ages, showcasing the rich heritage of the region.
