SOCA is the result of a collaboration between Alejandro Salido and Rui Da Mata, who aimed to bring their culinary expertise to the heart of Málaga. After teaming up with Joanna Coghlan—Rui’s former colleague from Restaurante Spago, known for its pioneering approach to fusion cuisine and sushi—and Alejandro’s background at Restaurante Palo Cortado, they set out on this new venture. Joined by Jesús Segovia, the team established SOCA on the vibrant Calle Carretería, where they offer a contemporary fusion dining experience that stays true to local traditions and ingredients.
